The Ireland team entered for the World Cup regatta in Lucerne this weekend (July 7th to 9th) has been changed.
The men’s four will not now compete, and Ronan Byrne has also been withdrawn from the men’s single. Trials in Italy to test for speed continued until the weekend.
Hugh Moore (pic) is the new entry in the lightweight single sculls, replacing Jake McCarthy.

McCarthy’s twin, Fintan, will team up with Paul O’Donovan in the lightweight double sculls at the head of the nine crews now set to compete. The sole Ireland men’s sweep boat will be the men’s pair of Nathan Timoney and Ross Corrigan.
